Melodeon Player Anthony Cookson who moved to Foulridge. He played for Mossley Morris and afterwards trained a team at Foulridge.

Music for the Mossley Dance as used by Manchester Morris Men 1996, including Long Morris and Tickle Her Martha sung by Fred Hanby 16 March 1938.

Napoleon's March. Tune for the Preston Dance done by the Mossley Morris Dancers. This was the tune played by the flute player which usually ended by the Mossley Men being thrown out of the pub. It was also used by the Robinson family (Lakes) for thr Grand March.

Jack's the Lad as played by Anthony Cookson, melodeon player for Mossley Morris Dancers around 1895. Collected from his daughter Mrs Lillian Thornton by Julian Pilling.
